The Most Beautiful Place on Earth

Hello.

We're in the Swiss Alps. And it's amazing.

Were in Interlocken, which is a small town, in between mountains, where everyone speaks english. The environment is not the only reason why we're happy (although it would be enough). But we also had the weekend off, which meant over the course of the weekend, people have gone parasailing, hiking, sky-diving, canyon-ing, and rafting. The Pointers have been busy praying we don't all die.

Being my adventurous self - I stayed on my own two feet and went hiking yesterday to one of the high points. It was GORGEOUS. We took a bus and three trains, and then hiked for a while before hitting another small city. We wanted to go all the way to the top, but we've learned that Switzerland is insanely expensive and spending another $130 to get to the top didn't sound too awesome... especially because the views where we were already were breathtaking! We had a great afternoon, and then headed back down.

Then Scott took me up to the city where he and his family stayed a few weeks ago and we went to a cute little restaurant for fodue. Which was very possibly the best meal we've had yet. The Swiss are all about bread and cheese, and I am all about the Swiss! Then we walked over the edge of the town where there was a waterfall and walked up to a point where you're standing under the waterfall and watched it get dark through the waterfall, looking out on the alps. Best Date Ever.
